Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Somila.in, owned and operated by FeelIQ Technologies LLP. We take great pride in our collection of Handloom and Powerloom sarees. Our goal is to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase.

However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. Please read our policy below to understand your rights and our process.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or exchange under the following circumstances:

  • Defective Product: The product received has a genuine manufacturing defect (e.g., large holes, large oil stains, or completely torn fabric).

  • Wrong Item: You received a product different from what you ordered (wrong color, wrong design).

Time Frame: All return requests must be raised within 7 days of the delivery date. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

2. Non-Returnable Items & Exclusions

To maintain fairness and hygiene, we cannot accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:

  • Digital vs. Reality (AI Imagery): Some images on our site are digitally enhanced or AI-generated for visualization. Slight differences in fabric sheen, texture, or drape between the digital image and the physical product are not grounds for return.

  • Color Variations: Due to different screen resolutions (mobile vs. desktop) and lighting conditions (studio vs. natural light), the color of the physical saree may differ slightly from the photo. Returns for minor color disagreements are not accepted.

  • Handloom Characteristics: Irregularities in the weave, thread continuity, or minor print overlaps are characteristic of handloom and powerloom manufacturing. These are not defects but signs of authentic craftsmanship.

  • Used or Altered Items: Sarees that have been worn, washed, dry-cleaned, or had their blouse piece detached/stitched cannot be returned.

  • Clearance/Sale Items: Products purchased during specific clearance sales are final and non-refundable.

3. The Return Process

If your issue falls under “Eligibility” (Section 1), please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at sales@somila.in or WhatsApp us at +91 91106 91081 within 7 days of delivery.

  2. Evidence: Please attach clear photos or a video of the defect/issue along with your Order ID.

  3. Approval: Our team will review your request within 48 hours. If approved, we will arrange for a reverse pickup (subject to pin code availability).

  4. Packaging: Please pack the item securely in its original packaging with all tags and the invoice intact.

4. Refunds

Once we receive the returned item and it passes our quality check:

  • Prepaid Orders: The refund will be initiated to your original payment source (Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI) within 5-7 business days.

  • COD Orders: We will request your bank account details or UPI ID to transfer the refund amount.

  • Shipping Charges: Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

5. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a defective product for the same item:

  • We will ship the replacement free of cost once the defective item is picked up.

  • If the exact item is out of stock, we will offer you a full refund or the option to choose another product of equal value.

6. Cancellations

  • You can cancel your order before it has been dispatched.

  • Once the product is shipped, we cannot cancel the order. You will have to receive it and follow the return process if there is a valid defect.
